Host a Donation Drive

You can help Safetynet by hosting a donation drive. Organizing a drive can be easy and rewarding. You can host a donation drive at home, at work, or at school, and invite your friends, families, neighbours, colleagues and classmates to donate clothing, diapers, toiletries or household items. You could even make it a team challenge, to see who raises more!

Here’s How:

1. Choose a timeline for your drive

   • Will it happen in one day, over the course of a month, or somewhere in between? Do you want to plan it as part of an existing event, or as a standalone drive?

2. Email us to let us know: karen@safetynetservices.ca

   • This allows us to plan to receive your donation, and thank you on social media (with your permission!)

   • We can also share what’s most needed at the charity at that time (seasonal clothing, etc.)

3. Decide What to Collect - our most needed items always include:

   • Toiletries: Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Menstrual pads/Tampons, Toothbrushes and Toothpaste, Pull-ups (4T,5T), Diapers (Size 5,6)

   • Brand new essentials items: Underwear, Bras, Socks, Pajamas

   • Gently used clothing (all sizes)

   • Housewares: Towels, Bedsheets, Frying Pans and Pots, Bowls, Plates

   • Monetary donations are always welcome!
